Deep Plate - Aberta

Sale price15,00 € Regular price25,00 €
color: Cremeweiß
The deep plate can be seen as a cross between a small bowl and a plate, making it versatile. Whether fresh pasta on grated lime, hot potato stew or baked pear on a sweet reduction of something delicious, the plate decorates culinary creations.

The steep rim of the plate opens upwards and surrounds the flat center. The upper edge is unglazed and decorates the timeless shape.

The deep plate in our ABERTA collection is available in three glazes and was produced sustainably and fairly. Glazed as unglazed, stoneware is suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.

Collection Aberta

Our third ceramic collection is produced in a ceramic factory in central Portugal. The factory was founded in 1988 by a family that has a long tradition in the ceramic industry and has more than fifty years of experience in ceramic manufacturing.

Over the years, the company has continually evolved without detaching itself from the traditional component that characterizes the Alcobaça region. Among other things, they have specialized in hand-painting. We are very fond of this combination of tradition and modernity.

Our ABERTA collection is the first collection that we are having produced in Alcobaça.

FOOD CULTURE

For many, high-quality food has become a fundamental part of their life culture. Conscious nutrition and organically grown food are experiencing a new cult.

Eating also means rest and enjoyment. It is often the time when family members come together from their individual lives and spend time together around the table. Intense communication takes place during this ritual, which otherwise often finds little space.

With onomao ceramics we try to contribute to this culture of life. Through sustainable production and fair manufacturing conditions, they extend the cycle of conscious food intake. Our desire is to develop durable products that visually embellish the ritual of eating for many years.
