Our carafes are handmade and mouth-blown. The manufacturing process is particularly energy-saving, because recycled glass has a lower melting point than the raw materials needed to produce new glass. The more recycled glass is used in glass production, the less energy is required and less CO2 is emitted. At the same time, recycled glass conserves resources and is therefore environmentally friendly, since we spare nature the need to mine new raw materials / since no new raw materials need to be mined, but resources that have already been processed are reused.
