Flat and classic in appearance, our large bowl rests on a subtle base and has a gently curved rim. It was made in a manufactory in Portugal.

The large bowl of our collection CLASSIC is available in several glazes and was produced sustainably and fairly in Portugal. Glazed and unglazed, stoneware is suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher and may even be used in the oven.

"Classic" is handmade in the north of Portugal. Its classic, reduced shapes are designed to support a long use.

THE KLASSIK CERAMICS MANUFACTORY

In the course of developing our second tableware collection KLASSIK, we went in search of another ceramic manufactory. We landed at a family business, which sits in the rolling hills behind Porto. The family looks back on a long ceramic tradition. Working with clay has been consistently passed down and specialized from generation to generation.

Our KLASSIK collection is hand tamped before a drying process to clean and refine it to be glazed before firing. Creative hand-painting is one of the manufactory's hobbyhorses. Thus KLASSIK gets her stripes missed in loving handwork in the small studio.

FOOD CULTURE

For many, high-quality food has become a fundamental part of their life culture. Conscious nutrition and organically grown food are experiencing a new cult.

Eating also means rest and enjoyment. It is often the time when family members come together from their individual lives and spend time together around the table. Intense communication takes place during this ritual, which otherwise often finds little space.

With onomao ceramics we try to contribute to this culture of life. Through sustainable production and fair manufacturing conditions, they extend the cycle of conscious food intake. Our desire is to develop durable products that visually embellish the ritual of eating for many years.

Questions & Answers

How are the large bowls different from the small bowls/bowls?

The large bowls have a much shallower design, unlike small bowls and bowls. Food can be arranged and presented more invitingly than in the higher bowls.

Are the large bowls dishwasher safe?

The large bowls may be cleaned in the dishwasher. Stoneware is a particularly resistant material, which means that the items will not be damaged by the mechanical load and detergents in the dishwasher.

How do I care for my tableware to keep it in good condition for a long time?

The onomao products are designed for a long durability. They are dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. Handle your dinnerware with care and be careful not to expose it to drastic temperature changes, as this can cause cracking. With our matte glazes, cutlery abrasion may occur over time. However, this is only superficial and is usually easily removed with baking soda and a soft cloth.

How long is the delivery time?

We do our best to process your order within 2 business days. Once your order has been handed over to our shipping partner DHL, it usually takes another 1-3 business days within Germany until your order arrives. Shipping to foreign countries may take a little longer.
