The egg holder is made in a manufactory in the north of Portugal. Each piece is carefully handcrafted there. The lower part remains unglazed and allows the natural feel of the clay to be felt - each piece is unique.

The egg holder is available in all glazes from the KLASSIK collection and is suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. Made from robust stoneware, it is a reliable companion through many mornings - quiet and durable.

KLASSIK is our understated stoneware tableware collection: delicate, rounded forms that fit seamlessly together. Each piece rests on a small, unglazed base that gives the shape a simple stage. Handcrafted in Portugal, it carries both character and durability.

The collection is available in various glazes and color worlds: matte dove blue feels refined and tranquil, while the hand-painted version with blue-and-white stripes makes a bold statement on the table. For many, high-quality food has become a fundamental part of their life culture. Conscious nutrition and organically grown food are experiencing a new cult.

Eating also means rest and enjoyment. It is often the time when family members come together from their individual lives and spend time together around the table. Intense communication takes place during this ritual, which otherwise often finds little space.

With onomao ceramics we try to contribute to this culture of life. Through sustainable production and fair manufacturing conditions, they extend the cycle of conscious food intake. Our desire is to develop durable products that visually embellish the ritual of eating for many years.

Close relationship: our first ceramic producer

Every company can surely reflect on that one relevant collaboration that has fundamentally accompanied and shaped the path of individual development. For us, it's the collaboration with Mario.

Mario grew up in a pottery family and had just taken over the management of the family business at the beginning of onomao when we were looking for a manufacturer to be able to establish onomao.

The TRADITIONELL collection is produced, among others, in Mario’s manufactory. Since 2018, all shapes have been created here using clay sourced from the region. Along this journey — from the first prototypes to today’s series — we have learned a great deal about materials, processes, and durability.
