Care should be taken not to expose the ceramic to dramatic temperature fluctuations (e.g. pouring hot liquid into an ice-cold bowl or cup), as this can lead to cracking.

Vase:
• Our vases are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, a treatment with vinegar or tooth cleaning tabs helps against bacteria.
Stronger residues can be removed by hand with a dishwashing brush.

Miriam Jacks is a make-up artist and founder of JACKS beauty line. She has been working in the beauty industry for 20 years. She knows the needs of her customers, helps develop every product and only launches products on the market that she is 100% behind. Her passion for beautiful things is not only reflected in the products, but also in the entire design surrounding the brand. From the interior design of the new office to the CI of her own podcast - Miriam loves to live out her creative side and give space to new things.

About onomao x JACKS beauty line

A cup, a vase and a brush holder - three products that turn every morning beauty routine into a ritual that appeals to all the senses. The three items in the collection are harmoniously coordinated with each other, incorporate existing and new shapes and colors and were designed by JACKS beauty line founder Miriam Jacks together with onomao in the typical style and color concept of both brands.
Both brands attach great importance to quality, attention to detail and craftsmanship. The founders also have a close personal friendship. A look into the kitchen at JACKS beauty line shows that onomao has been a permanent fixture in the office for years.

Questions & Answers

Are the products in the joint collection also produced in Portugal?

The products come from our Klassik ceramic manufactory. In the course of developing our second Classic tableware collection, we went in search of another ceramic manufacturer. We ended up with a family business located in the rolling hills behind Porto. The family can look back on a long ceramic tradition. Working with clay has been consistently passed down and specialized from generation to generation. Our CLASSIC collection is stamped by hand before being cleaned and refined after a drying process and then glazed before firing.

How can the products support my daily rituals?

The first hot drink in the morning stimulates the senses. A fresh bunch of flowers from the weekly market decorates the home. A beauty routine helps us to feel good. Small rituals are a piece of self-care and help us to experience the day more consciously. The three products in our collection with Jack's Beauty Line are designed to support these daily rituals and set a classic make-up table.

How did this collaboration come about?

Our two labels are linked by a long friendship and our sustainable philosophy, which focuses on natural raw materials and ingredients for ceramics and cosmetics. Both companies are certified carbon neutral and are working to further our sustainable and transparent approach.

Are the products dishwasher-safe?

The products can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Stoneware is a particularly resistant material, which means that the parts are not damaged by mechanical stress and cleaning agents in the dishwasher.
