The shape
Our serving platters are available in two sizes. Small or large, they are suitable for serving salads and pasta as well as cheese, cakes and fruit. The oval shape is classic and the raised edge holds the food securely on the serving plate. The elongated shape also makes it possible to combine several serving plates and arrange a whole table of delicacies. The serving bowls fit in the dishwasher and are therefore easy to clean.
The material
Our serving platters are made of ceramic in manufactories in Portugal. They combine aesthetics and functionality and are versatile, from festive occasions to everyday use. The material retains heat well so that food stays warm for longer. It is also scratch-resistant and colorfast, making the serving bowls durable and easy to clean. Ceramic is also acid-resistant, so many types of food can be served on it. Thanks to the glazed surface, cleaning is uncomplicated.
The colors
Our serving platters are available in many colors. Whether it's a cosy dinner inside or a summer BBQ outside: the different colors give the table a special atmosphere and set the scene for the food. The colored glazes make each platter unique, as they are applied by hand, creating individual patterns and nuances. White and beige platters look classic and timeless, while green and pink serving platters add fresh and playful accents. Colorful and patterned plates bring vibrancy to the table.
Serving plates
Our ceramics are produced in manufactories in Portugal, the raw material is a purely natural product and comes from the region. We use stoneware for both our Classic and Traditional tableware collections.
Stoneware is fired at a temperature of at least 1,130 degrees in order to maintain its specific density and therefore its robustness. Our products are therefore impermeable to water even without a glaze.
As stoneware is a natural product and each collection has different compositions, our unglazed products made of pure clay can vary slightly in color - naturally.
Questions & Answers
The bowls and serving plates are characterized by their flatter shape compared to our classic bowls and dishes. This flat design makes it possible to present food in a particularly appealing and inviting way. In addition, the oval shape of the serving plates ensures that they can be placed between the plates on a narrow table to save space - ideal for a harmonious and aesthetic arrangement.
The serving plates can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Stoneware is a particularly resistant material, which means that the parts are not damaged by mechanical stress and cleaning agents in the dishwasher.
We do our best to process your order within 2 working days. Once your order has been handed over to our shipping partner DHL, it usually takes a further 1-3 working days for your order to arrive within Germany. Shipping abroad may take a little longer.
