3 Facts about our Ceramic egg holder - handmade in Portugal

The Design

Our egg cups feature a modern design. The egg cups of the “Traditionell” collection are flat and consist of two rings, with the inner ring holding the egg. The raised rim provides enough space to rest a spoon or a piece of bread. The egg cups of the “Klassik” collection stand on a small base, showcasing the egg in style. In addition, the clay egg cups can also be used as small bowls for sea salt or for storing jewelry.

The Color

Our egg cups are available in the familiar colours of our ‘Traditional’ and ‘Classic’ collections, seamlessly complementing existing breakfast services and tables. The clay egg cups are glazed by hand with different coloured glazes. Whether colourful in green, blue or pink or neutral in white and grey, the variety of colours suits different interior styles. The ceramic egg cups are easy to clean in the dishwasher.

The sets

Our ceramic egg holders are also available as a set. The sets of two and six are ideal for setting the breakfast table for the whole family. Whether at Easter or any other weekend. Depending on your taste, you can also put together an individual set of different bright colors. The egg holders are stackable, which makes them easy to store.

Culinary Culture

High-quality food has become an essential part of life culture for many people. Conscious eating and organically grown food are experiencing a new cult.

Food also means peace and enjoyment. It is often the moment when family members come together from their individual lives to spend time at the table. This ritual fosters intensive communication, which otherwise often has little space.

With onomao ceramics, we aim to contribute to this life culture. Through sustainable production and fair manufacturing conditions, we extend the cycle of conscious food consumption. Our goal is to create durable products that visually enhance the ritual of eating for many years.
