Small Vases

“Pepe,” “Eusébio,” “Duartinho,” and the smallest version of “Rizoma” are the minis among our vases. With a height under 20 cm, they are perfect for table settings, windowsills, or side tables. Small handpicked bouquets of wildflowers or single stems of peonies, poppies, and hydrangeas look beautiful in them. “Pepe” stands out with its slim, tall design, while “Eusébio,” with its handle, recalls the shape of an old bedside lamp. “Duartinho” opens upwards and is accentuated by hand-painted lines.

Our small vases are available in a variety of colors. Some come in solid shades of white, green, or blue, while others feature the characteristic onomao dipped style: one part glazed, the other left unglazed with natural clay. The vase “Duartinho” is hand-painted and comes with an orange checkered pattern or stripes in blue, green, and red. Each line is painted by hand in our manufactory in Portugal. The vase “Rizoma I” is available in deep red, soft powder, and vibrant lemon yellow.

Our small vases are made of stoneware, which gives them a natural look. They are robust and will bring joy for many years. Because they are handmade, each shape is a little different, which makes each vase unique. The glazed surface and pleasant weight mean they fit well in the hand. To care for them, the flower vases should be cleaned regularly, either by hand with a mild detergent or in the dishwasher.
