Edition Enguerrand Poncelin x onomao

Enguerrand Poncelin was born in Lorient, Brittany, France. His journey took him through Paris, Melbourne, and Cologne, where he established himself as an integrative designer with a focus on industrial design. His work explores the intersection of design, taste, and perception, fueling his passion for multisensory experiences and the question of how design shapes our relationship to flavors and rituals.

Beyond product design, his artistic practice addresses social norms, identity, and ecology through multimedia installations and hybrid performances that blur the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds. Since 2023, Enguerrand has been working as a product designer at onomao. He lives in Berlin, where he develops meaningful and enduring designs in close dialogue with artisans and materials.

Atelier onomao is a space for design, in close collaboration with designers and artists. Here, disciplines merge to create creative objects.

The result is handmade interior products that capture the essence of design and bring functional creativity into living spaces.

With RIZOMA, Enguerrand Poncelin, product designer at onomao, presents his first artist collection in collaboration with the label – born from a quiet dialogue between a sense of form and intuition, material and meaning. The vase series emerged from a free creative collaboration and is inspired by underground root systems – fluid, interconnected, without beginning or end.
Each vase is handmade and glazed in Portugal. Glossy surfaces, delicate asymmetries, and embossed lines give the pieces a quiet strength and poetic presence.
RIZOMA is made of glazed stoneware, is dishwasher-safe, and is available in three sizes (VASE I–III) and five glazes: POWDER, LEMON, FIG, AZUR and SALT.
