Our NATURAL WHITE colour stands for purism. At first glance, NATURAL WHITE appears uniform and calm. However, upon closer inspection, you can see the individual differences. Just like in nature. On closer inspection, the semi-matt glaze has very subtle light brown freckles, which give the simple glaze a lively appearance.

TRADITIONAL is our first ceramic collection. Its shapes are minimalist and timeless. The steep rim of the deep plates, mezze plates and tapas plates give the collection its distinctive design. The robust and traditional style is influenced by Portuguese craftsmanship. The tableware is designed for everyday use. Both glazed and unglazed stoneware is dishwasher safe and can even be used in the oven. TRADITIONAL is available in many glazes, which can also be mixed and matched.

Every company can look back on one particular collaboration that has fundamentally shaped and accompanied its individual development. For us, that collaboration is with Mario. Mario grew up in a family of potters and had just taken over the management of the family business when we started looking for a manufacturer to found onomao. The TRADITIONAL collection is manufactured in Mario's factory, among others. Since 2018, all shapes have been created here from clay sourced in the region. Along the way – from the first samples to the current series – we have learned a great deal about materials, processes and durability.
