The small bowl is suitable for the muesli with fresh raspberries in the morning, the hot vegetable soup with semolina dumplings at lunch or for the small field salad with walnuts in the evening.

The small bowl was produced in a manufactory in the center of Portugal. Visually, it opens upwards, while the bottom rests flat on the base. The unglazed rim adorns the reduced form and gives it an unexciting design detail.

The small bowl in our ABERTA collection is available in three glazes and has been produced sustainably and fairly. Glazed and unglazed, stoneware is suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.

With our matte glazes, cutlery abrasion may occur over time. However, this is only superficial and can usually be easily removed with baking soda and a soft cloth.

Care should be taken not to expose the ceramic to dramatic temperature changes (e.g. pouring hot liquid into an ice-cold bowl or cup), as this can cause cracking.

Collection Aberta

Our third ceramic collection is produced in a ceramic factory in central Portugal. The factory was founded in 1988 by a family that has a long tradition in the ceramic industry and has more than fifty years of experience in ceramic manufacturing.

Over the years, the company has continually evolved without detaching itself from the traditional component that characterizes the Alcobaça region. Among other things, they have specialized in hand-painting. We are very fond of this combination of tradition and modernity.

Our ABERTA collection is the first collection that we are having produced in Alcobaça.

FOOD CULTURE

For many, high-quality food has become a fundamental part of their life culture. Conscious nutrition and organically grown food are experiencing a new cult.

Eating also means rest and enjoyment. It is often the time when family members come together from their individual lives and spend time together around the table. Intense communication takes place during this ritual, which otherwise often finds little space.

To what extent do the products differ from the photos in the online store?

Due to the handmade production, all products differ slightly among themselves in shape, color and texture. This makes each piece unique and gives the products their individual charm.

Are the small bowls dishwasher safe?

The small bowls may be cleaned in the dishwasher. Stoneware is a particularly resistant material, which means that the items will not be damaged by the mechanical stress and cleaning agents in the dishwasher.

How do I care for my tableware to keep it in good condition for a long time?

How long is the delivery time?

We do our best to process your order within 2 business days. Once your order has been handed over to our shipping partner DHL, it usually takes another 1-3 business days within Germany until your order arrives. Shipping to foreign countries may take a little longer.
