With the support of Planted, we have once again determined our carbon footprint for 2023 and 2024. The Cologne-based company combines local climate protection with technological software solutions. Planted supports other companies in emissions management and plants mixed forests in Germany with its own climate foresters, thereby enabling the protection of local forests.

The Surfrider Foundation is an NGO dedicated to protecting oceans, coasts and waterways. Through educational work, e.g. in schools, it raises awareness of the marine environment and pollution, organises clean-ups and lobbies against coastal construction projects.

WECF is an international network of 250 women's, environmental and health organisations that implements projects worldwide to give women and marginalised social groups a political voice. WECF advocates for the gender-equitable implementation of the Paris Climate Agreement and works towards a future in which human rights, health and a toxic-free environment take precedence over economic interests.

An organisation needs reach in order to gain even more support. We placed advertisements via Meta that included the 1% For the Planet logo and promoted this organisation.

We auctioned off some of our wool blankets as part of a 1% for the Planet auction. Together with Zero Waste Köln e.V., we worked as a team to collect rubbish along the banks of the Rhine. The hours we worked will be calculated and credited to our 1% account.
