Due to the manufacture by hand, each shape is a little bit different. As a result, the flower pots also have small differences that can be subtly noticeable. We consider these natural variations as part of the beauty of each piece.

We were allowed to build a good relationship with the warm-hearted man. Cunjha's friendly approach to his team, his relaxed character, and his professionalism appeal to us greatly. Having started his career as a pharmacist himself, he came to work with clay in the 1980s through his wife. Her family had already been running the manufactory for generations, which would later become his property. Our candleholders, FLORES vases and flower pots are created both on the potter's wheel and by stamped clay technique in the family business.

HOW IS A FLOWER POT ACTUALLY CREATED?
Terracotta flower pots are made from clay. First, the clay is soaked in water to make it pliable. Then it is placed on a disc and shaped by hand. After the pot has the desired shape, it is dried and fired. The first firing is done at a low temperature to remove moisture from the clay. After the glaze is applied, the pot is fired at a higher temperature to make it hard and durable. Ready is the terracotta flower pot!
