Our large, round vase BOLA loves pine branches and freshly picked flowers. Its design is reminiscent of the first onomao vase, which we have subtly elevated. Thus, the diameter of the opening of BOLA also provides enough space for more generous bouquets - the optimized collar also gives the shape a reduced and clear detail. With its round design, the vase adorns beautiful floors as well as large tables.

Due to the production by hand, each shape is a little bit different. So even with vases, there are small differences that can be subtly noticeable. We consider these natural variations as part of the beauty of each piece.

OUR CERAMIC PRODUCER MARIO

Every company can undoubtedly look back on the one relevant cooperation that has accompanied and shaped the path of individual development. In our case, it is the cooperation with Mario.

Mario grew up in a pottery family. At the beginning of onomao he had just taken over the management of the family business when we started looking for a manufacturer to found onomao.

His factory is located in northern Portugal and exudes a beautiful tradition. His parents can still be seen scurrying through one of the large pottery rooms with dusty hands.

As we have grown, Mario's manufactory has grown as well. So production techniques were optimized, and an annex was also added. Our connection has also grown because of our long collaboration.

Mario has an incredible feel for our ideas and conceptions and manages to have his team implement these precise specifications. It gives us great pleasure to develop new things with him again and again.

WHAT ACTUALLY IS STONEWARE?

Stoneware is a high-quality material, which is the result of careful production. It consists of clay, quartz and feldspar. Molds are formed from this mixture and, after a drying phase, are fired at high temperatures. During the firing process, the material becomes particularly resistant and can therefore be used in a variety of ways. The production of stoneware requires a lot of experience. The result is a durable and aesthetically pleasing ceramic that can be used in many areas.
